About Us
Welcome To Steppingstones Recovery Homes!
Mission Statement
Our Mission is to help individuals in recovery to bridge the gap from where they are, to where they are going. We offer peer support, encouragement, and a safe stable environment for people as they grow and learn how to thrive in our community! We provide structure, support, and friendship from those who personally know and understand where you have been while offering a safe place where everyone you live with has the common goal of healing and improving themselves.
Vision Statement
“We envision a world where every individual, regardless of their background, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, is put first and has equal access to safe, and supportive sober living environments. At Steppingstones, we strive to create a community where our members and their recovery come first; where personal responsibility, compassion, and mutual respect thrive. Our residents, guided by the principles of recovery, work together to build a foundation for lasting sobriety. We believe that everyone deserves a chance to heal, grow, and embrace a new way of life—free from addiction. Through unity, cooperation, and unwavering commitment, we pave the path towards equal and inclusive recovery for all.”
Meet Our Founder:
Our founder Jesse was saved by the love, support, and accountability that was created by the sober living home he unintentionally created for himself after finding his own rock bottom. He was left alone in what was once his family home. Jesse endured the battles of early sobriety, alone in this now empty house. One day in a 12 step meeting he heard a fellow member who was fighting for their sobriety and had nowhere left to go. Jesse had vacant rooms so he offered his home to this individual under the condition they maintained their sobriety. He didn’t know it at the time, but this would be the first of many people he would offer shelter and safe haven to. As time went on he forged his way through his own battles to maintain sobriety. He filled every one of his empty rooms and found support and purpose through service. One Alcoholic, one Addict helping another he found strength and hope in numbers. With the help of the 12 principles of recovery Jesse opened Steppingstones Recovery Homes in 2022 to give a chance to others who were willing to travel the road of recovery, and need some help along the way.

Unveiling the Benefits of Recovery Homes:
- Recovery homes bridge the gap between treatment centers and independent living.
- Building a sober network is made easier with recovery homes, they provide a safe space to live with others on the same path, fostering accountability and shared experiences
- The road to recovery requires addressing underlying issues that fueled the addiction and crafting a plan for long-term sobriety creating a fulfilling life. Recovery homes provide the support and structure you need to heal from addiction and reach your full potential.
- Residents are not held under lock and key at the sober living homes, they can come and go as they please. However, sober living homes have rules, restrictions, and curfews but they are less restrictive than a treatment center setting. This allows the residents in recovery to feel like they are easing back into normal life and can start taking part in life’s regular activities.
- Sober living homes are a great resource for individuals who want to create a solid foundation for long-term recovery.

Hope for the Future:
We Strive to build Steppingstones Recovery Homes to the point that we never have to turn someone away due to a lack of vacancy. We feel that all an individual should ever need to join a recovery home is the willingness to do so. Regardless of where they come from, how far they have fallen, or how long they have been sober. Everyone recovers at their own pace and needs various levels of support along the way. Our goal is to have multiple levels of homes to help at all stages of recovery to ease the transition from treatment to independently living in the community. We know we cannot do it alone.
Together we CAN make a difference.
